Just wanted to pop in and share with you what I worked on last month. First things first…..
We are so happy to finally have him in our arms! Right now he is sleeping on my chest and I wouldn’t want it any other way! Time feels like it is going by 100X faster than ever before. He is already a month old! (What?! When did that happen!!) I have leaned how to use just one hand (and a foot or two sometime) and realizing that even little tasks just take longer now! We are trying our hand at babywearing (yay K’tan!) and will be starting on the adventures of cloth diapering as soon as he fits into them! Any advice on the cloth diapering topic is much appreciated!
Despite having a newborn I have been trying to stay crafty. In a previous post I talked about how I joined a swap group on Facebook (if you are interested let me know, I will tell you which one it is). Every month there are new events and themes to choose from. There are card only swaps, material swaps, stamped image swaps, even a few jewelry and candy swaps. Lots of variety! I have been just doing the simple swaps (cards only or a few stamped images). Here is what I have accomplished so far for you inspiration.
Blue & Yellow Cards

Stamped Image Card
Thank You Cards
I used my Fiskars tag maker to make these. See what else I have used it for here.
These cards used to be a store bought card. The idea was to take pieces of a store bought card and re-purpose them into a handmade card. It was a really fun idea and I am looking forward to make more like this!
This is a combination of a few cards. The part with the flowers is the back of a wedding invite, the greeting is from a Thank you note, and the butterflies are from a birthday card from my grandma. The bottom is the inside of the card.
I have been super inspired by joining this swap group. I hope that these cards can further inspire others to keep on crafting! For more inspiration check out my Pintrest board. If you have any questions about these cards please don’t hesitate to contact me.
We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
